Setting out to find a location without scouting out the place first is quite a rarity for me, usually I visit a spot a few times to get a feel of what works for an image, walk a route and enjoy the process of getting out and about.
This time around i’d heard about a woodland deep in Dorset and set out to see for myself the thick carpet of bluebells which were in bloom.
Arriving in the woods was pretty spooky before sunrise but waking up with the day was a great way to start. An incredibly moody layer of fog was covering the woods and as the sun rose through the tree line I was greeted with some truly magical light.
