Hey! Im Karl, located in Dorset, UK. I’ve been into Photography for a number of years now with coastal and forestry shots some of my favourite types of scene to snap.

Based in the South of England, I’m pretty lucky to have some renowned and truly beautiful locations right on my doorstep. From World Heritage sites and protected forests to wildflower meadows and all kinds of wildlife, this county on the Coast has plenty to offer.

A particular highlight for us in Dorset is the famous Jurassic Coast, stretching around 96 miles from East Devon to Studland Bay in Purbeck. This is one of the finest ranges of coastline in Europe well-known for breathtaking beaches and striking rock formations. I’ve written about some of my favourite parts of the Dorset section of this coastline here.

With all that we have available to us in the South, I use photography as a way to experience and explore as much as I can, getting back to nature as much as possible. I find this is the best way to switch off and truly relax, unwinding with nature.

My aim through the photography and media I create, is to give you the same sense of adventure and escapism that I feel when i’m out with the camera. Photography for me is great way to unwind and appreciate some of the incredible scenery around us.

You’ll often find me exploring a coastline or venturing out into the forest as these spots, I find, are the best places to really switch off and take in the real beauty of nature. We have some incredibly pretty locations around the South Coast and I always look forward to the opportunity to explore something different, clear my head by getting out and about or seek out a new picturesque walking route.

Photography is ultimately all about capturing light to make an image and document a moment. I love creating inspiring imagery and particularly, the post production side of a finished shot. My aim through my editing process is to make something that captures a feeling, sense of wonder and aims to inspire you.
